This makes me realize how lucky I am to have not only my “better half” by my side but most of all, my “best friend!”

This photo I took was on a early morning drive to my 9-5 while Allison was up in Seattle and made me think of the two of us and how lucky we are!!

We love these awesome canvas wrap prints and how they look on the wall! The photo we used on this sample canvas wrap is from Ryann + Alex’s wedding we shot last September. I love this photo but when its printed on the canvas wrap its even more amazing!!

While I wished more than anything that I could have been there with them I stayed here in California.  One day as Allison and her dad were cleaning out a closet they came across this.. his old Zeiss Ikoflex!

We love old cameras… it always makes me wonder where they have been and what photos they have taken.  As this camera, from around 1940-50, was given to Allison’s dad from his dad, he thought that it would be a great to keep it in the family and give it to us.  We are so stoked that he has given this to us!!  I learned photography on film originally,  even on large and medium format, so this camera will get some great use and we can not wait to use it..  We just got some 120 film and make sure to keep a look out for our first shots with the new family camera…  and a big Thank You to Allison’s dad, Ross!!  Cheers!!
